Corlia embarked on her journey in corporate training in 2020 when she joined ProBeta Training as a facilitator in Taxation, after serving at the University of Pretoria as an assistant lecturer and academic trainee in the Department of Taxation and completed her qualification as a Chartered Accountant as an audit trainee at BDO South Africa.
Since joining ProBeta Training, Corlia has facilitated courses for various tax matters and ethics-related courses for professionals in the industry. She has assisted in developing the annual Tax Guides with ProBeta Training and developed an additional tax guide for employers in 2021.
She believes that teaching is not only technical, but that education can truly be enabling and extend into the hearts of others when conveyed with the appropriate level of moral courage. In a time when taxes are not always perceived in a positive light, she strives to assist others in understanding it in the hope that it enables them to also accept and comply with the tax laws.
