Biography
Richard founded BizGro in 2015, after many happy & successful years with Bidvest/Bidfood, managing & turning struggling businesses into winning companies, before moving on to occupy various senior H/O positions, culminating in launching the Bidvest Foodservice Sales Academy.
He was a nominee of the coveted Bidvest Chairman’s award on three separate occasions.
In his retirement, Richard is busier than ever & his Company, BizGro “growing your business”, now supports both Corporate & smaller business Clients in crafting winning sales strategies, developing sales skills, sourcing the absolute best fit sales professionals & introducing Manufacturers & Importers to the HORECA market sector.
Richard’s deep understanding of leadership, Customer experience & his out of the box strategies, have assisted many companies reverse their fortunes & go on to achieving great bottom line results.
There is no greater need for these skills than now, with the devastating commercial damage caused by covid in our Country.
As well as supporting Companies to build winning growth strategies, BizGro has also evolved into a specialist sales placement practice, focusing on the automotive, food manufacturing, food service, FMCG, office automation & hospitality sectors.
Richard’s love of writing has also come to the fore, with two published books & numerous workshops, based on real-life personal experiences, over the years.
